HACCP

Leading supplier of HACCP courses and assistance to the food industry

Why HACCP?

HACCP is about establishing a structure and a system to prevent the introduction, infection, growth and survival of food hazards in products. Without this structure, it is easy for things to go wrong, with the consequences that can entail. The HACCP methodology has proven to be very effective in reducing risk, and has therefore received international recognition both from authorities and customers.

Therefore, it is also the case that all businesses that produce and sell food, both large and small, are required to introduce systems to produce safe food. The heart of the system is HACCP.

The differences between HACCP Level 2, 3, and 4

  • Level 1 covers general food hygiene and basic prerequisites without specific training in HACCP methodology.
  • Participants in this course will learn about the preparatory steps (including basic prerequisites) and the HACCP methodology.
  • After completing the course, participants will have an understanding of safe food practices and what is expected of them as members of an HACCP team.
  • The target audience includes HACCP team members and other personnel in the business who need a grasp of the principles behind safe food and HACCP (https://www.aquatiq.com/no/nor/haccp-kurs)

HACCP Level 3 - Workshop:

  • This three-day workshop provides participants with a detailed understanding of building HACCP systems.
  • It offers step-by-step guidance on the practical application of HACCP principles.
  • The course includes exercises that demonstrate the application of these principles in practice, hence the name “HACCP Workshop.”
  • Upon completion, participants will have acquired in-depth knowledge and understanding, enabling them to effectively apply the principles within their own organization.
  • The primary audience for this course includes those responsible for the company’s HACCP team, but it is also suitable for other team members, managers, quality personnel, and inspectors

HACCP Level 4 - Advanced:

  • It is tailored for industry professionals with solid prior knowledge of HACCP who want to further develop their HACCP expertise.
  • After completing the course, participants will have in-depth knowledge of leadership, development, maintenance, and implementation of HACCP-based systems.
